General Questions
How does the structure work?

Your mosaic kit comes with all the pieces you need so you can get started right away!
Your kit contains:
Clamping bricks sorted in paper bags
Sorting cups made of paper, for relaxed plugging fun
base plate(s) depending on the mosaic size
the brixio tool, with which you can easily remove bricks if you make a mistake
detailed, illustrated instructions in German
Fill the stones sorted by color into the cups, take the first plate and you're ready to go:
In the instructions you will find a number for each stone, which stands for the required color - with this number you know from which cup you put a stone in the corresponding place.
This is how you create your mosaic, brick by brick!
You can see a sample instruction here, as it comes with every mosaic!

How many people fit on a mosaic?
It depends on the size of the mosaic. On small mosaics consisting of one plate usually fits only one face in close-up.
For larger areas or several people, we recommend at least 2x2 plates or even larger formats. You can just try it yourself with your image in the editor!
How long will it take to assemble my mosaic?
That depends on how fast you are ;-)
As always, practice makes perfect. Experienced mosaicists manage a good 1,000 bricks per hour.
That means that you should plan at least 5 hours for a mosaic with 5,000 stones - to stay concentrated, it is recommended to take breaks - after all, it should be fun and not degenerate into stress.
How many clamping blocks make up a mosaic?
Each mosaic consists of one or more base plates. Each base plate contains 1024 or 2500 "dots", i.e. places for bricks.
Large mosaics consist of several plates.
The currently largest possible mosaic at brixio consists of 40,000 bricks and measures 1.60 x 1.60 meters!
How many base plates does a mosaic consist of?
A mosaic can consist of one or more tiles.
We have 2 tile sizes: 32x32 studs (size 25.6 * 25.6 cm) and 50x50 studs (size 40 x 40 cm).
How are the individual base plates joined together?
A mosaic can consist of one or more tiles.
The individual base plates are not joined together. The overall mosaic is created by either sticking the individual panels individually to the wall with adhesive strips or by sticking them next to each other on a base panel (this is also how our picture frames work).
How can I hang my mosaic?
You have several options:
- We supply each mosaic with adhesive strips that you can use to attach the individual tiles to smooth surfaces. Please test in an inconspicuous place beforehand whether the strips will stick to your surface and whether they can be removed without leaving any residue!
- Mosaics that only consist of one base plate can also simply be "put down" or leaned against the wall or similar
- For mosaics consisting of several panels, we sometimes offer picture frames
- Alternatively, you can stick the tiles to a panel of your choice from your local DIY store using the adhesive strips and hang them up.
Which images may I use?
For your own mosaic, which you hang up privately, you may use all images that do not violate applicable law.
You are solely responsible that the image content does not violate any laws or rights of third parties.
What is the quality of the bricks and platges?
We have a very high quality standard. Our quality control starts at the production and ends at the packing of your mosaic. Each brick has excellent clamping force and brilliant colors.
The bricks are 1x1 bricks in 50 great colors. The bricks and baseplates are compatible with LEGO and other major brands.
And if a brick should be defective: we always pack replacement bricks, so you don't have to fret!
